Diana Harrison, RMT

Diana Harrison is a BC Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of the 3000 hour program from OVCMT.

Diana practices with the belief that effective massage therapy does not need to be painful. Her primary treatment goal is to work through the tissue layers in a gentle manner. This is done by listening to the resistance of the tissue and only engaging further when the body allows. This style encourages appropriate pressure with little to no pain while eventually being able to work deeply in a safe manner. What clients can do to aid this treatment style is focus on their breath, letting go and relaxing into the massage.

Each treatment starts with a 5-10 minute interview and assessment while ending with 5 minutes for home care if indicated. Diana works with people of all ages aiding the recovery of chronic and acute soft tissue injuries.

When Diana is not at work you can find her on the local mountains hiking, climbing, boarding or cross country skiing. She grew up playing on many different sports teams but as of now she has retired from these activities and is solely playing co-ed soccer.
